The death of a Sanford man found in Osteen Thursday night has been ruled a homicide after an autopsy conducted by the Volusia County Medical Examiner’s Office Friday morning.
The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Brian Robinson, who was reported missing by his family Thursday. There was trauma to the body, but the cause of death is not being released at this time.
Volusia County Sheriff’s Office Major Case investigators believe that the body was found within hours of the homicide.
The body was discovered alongside a long, unpaved driveway that leads to two homes off of Osteen Maytown Road. A resident discovered the body at approximately 5:34 p.m.
