Osceola County, Florida - Osceola County Sheriff's detectives received information regarding a suspicious incident involving a child.
According the mother, on November 3 at approximately 4:15 p.m. her nine-year-old daughter was on her way home from Chestnut Elementary School, near the intersection of Chestnut Street and Amiens Road, when an unknown male stopped his vehicle and asked the girl if she wanted some candy and to get in the car.
The girl refused and the driver left the area.
The driver is described as a dark skinned male in his late 20's with a black Mohawk style hair cut. There was a passenger in the vehicle described as a dark skinned male in his 30's.
The vehicle is described as a beige, four-door older model vehicle with dark tinted windows and all black rims.

Deputies encourage parents to talk to their children about strangers. They suggest that children:
- Should not take ride from strangers.
- Should not go places alone.
- Should not assist strangers.
- Should not walk or play alone on the way home and never take shortcuts home.
- Should report any suspicious activity immediately to an adult.
